Metamorphosis

In this gallery, I present historical artwork and photos with relevant pictures from my kundalini metamorphosis and spiritual journey. My first visionary experience was around age 6 when I saw a 'lady in a long black dress' standing atop a palm tree looking down at me. I was in the back of my parent's vehicle, looking out the rear window. I later understood she was a witch from my ancestral memory who watched over me — my guardian angel. On this page, you will find the connection to the palm tree and kundalini in medieval art. My second experience with her was at the beginning of my kundalini experience in May of 2014 when she appeared to me and whispered, "Tension is the doorway." These words became the key to surviving the ordeal and opened the door to initiatory knowledge.

The roots of Witchcraft reach back to Druidism and the Goddess tradition. The pagan culture of the ancient Serpent Power was condemned by the Roman Christian church through the brutal Inquisitions in 1203. Anything related to the Female Goddess tradition was dubbed Witchcraft. And like Tiamat, the Sumerian Mother of Dragons, who turned from protective to vengeful mother, the Witch tradition turned to black magic against the Orthodox powers-that-be.

I searched for years to find confirmation of the details of the Kundalini metamorphosis, the details of which are extremely rare. So rare that I could hardly find historical connections aside from the Hindu tradition to support my claims. After nine years, I finally compiled enough evidence to present in this gallery. Note that I was unaware of information about the specifics of the Kundalini experience until after. For instance, I wasn't expecting the arrival of the 'Lady in Black' and the connection of the Palm Tree and Kundalini. Nor the wings related to ancient art and the caduceus, the link to Austin Osman Spare, and the many details of the alchemical process regarding atavistic resurgence and the shedding of the psychic self.

The head is the cup. The cup contains wisdom. He who is emmersed in the wisdom of the cup dies to himself, and is reborn. The Baptism of Wisdom is not for the faint of heart. The head, especially as a skull, represents both wisdom and death. The cup or bowl, although it be a cup of chaos, of the Abyss that tears one's soul apart, is also overflowing with the greatest revelation of insight achievable by man — if you can stand to drink of it.

When I discovered that the palm tree was a symbol for the alchemical process of kundalini I about fell off my chair. The vision I had of the Lady in Black standing on top of the palm tree when I was 6 years old finally made sense. And more so, because the second time I experienced her was during the Kundalini experience 40 years later. The connection spanned my life as I followed the Muse.

The "Liber quartorum," a latin translation of a Sabean text, emphasizes that the vessel is "like the work of God in the vessel of the divine seed (germinis divi), for it has received the clay, moulded it, and mixed with water and fire." [*Dolphin/Dragon] "This," says [Carl] Jung, "is an allusion to the creature of man, but on the other hand it seems to refer to the creation of souls, since immediately afterward the text speaks of the production of souls from the "seeds of heaven." In order to catch the soul, God created the vas cerebi, the cranium."

The First baptism is the forgiveness of sins. We are brought . . . into the imperishability which is the Jordan [one who descends]. But that place is of the world. So we have been sent out of the world into the Aeon. For the interpretation of John is the Aeon, while the interpretation of that which is the upward progression, that is, our Exodus from the world into the Aeon. The "upward progression" is the reversal flow of the river of life, the Jordan, allowing the "Exodus" — the escape from the body. One can think of this as analogous to the reversal flow of "prana" or life-force through the spinal column in kundalini yoga, which allows this power to rise from the base of the spine (where the "earth-chakra" is centered) up to and out through the godhead chakra located at the top of the head, gaining the practitioner temporary escape from the mental pain of existence.

Any spirit, including the archangels, conjured by the Witch or magician (the distinction, like that between pagan and Christian, is fallacious), as in ceremonial magic, was actually the ancestor (antecessor) of the Witch herself (or himself). It was a denizen of the ancient Dragon itself—but carried in the Witch's blood which, the purer it was through unbroken descent from the Dragons, the stronger would be the return of the ancestors within.

The nocturnal habits of the Dragon people, typically those of the Cimmerian Scythians, who are a sub group of the Skoloti or Scythian peoples from the Southern Steppes region of what is now known as Greater Scythia, were noted by their contemporaries. The Swan's wings of the Dragon glyph attributed to them were either interchangeable with, or substituted by, those of the bat to signify this.

During the Kundalini release, I experienced a set of "etheric" dragon wings pop out of my shoulder blades after days of feeling pressure on both. These wings were an inner manifestation I believe to be an atavistic resurgence, as expressed by Austin Osman Spare. This experience would explain why there are wings at the top of the caduceus symbol. Wings are almost always included with alchemical symbolism throughout ancient and medieval art and sculptures. Dragon, or bat wings, is not common in ancient art, but here it is below: 

My first meeting with the Mysterium Tremendum was at the age of 8. It was at the age of 12 that my mystical journey began with the occult influence of Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page. I was drawn by the "muse" within the music that led me to a deep underground of mystical knowledge. As the path progressed I discovered the connection between the dragon energy of "Kundalini" and the influences (Spare, Crowley) and formula (dragon suit) that was the magick of Zeppelin's music and concert ceremonies which they called "Houses of the Holy." The emersion in this Druidic Current triggered numerous releases of the Kundalini power culminating in the full metamorphosis through the song "Stairway to Heaven" in May of 2014. The four symbols on the cover of Led Zeppelin's fourth album have been speculated to have been influenced by Jimmy Page's interest in the occult. Each symbol was said to represent a band member, with Page's own symbol, "Zoso," originating from the alchemical grimoire "Ars Magica Arteficii" written by J Cardan in 1557. The symbol has been identified as a sigil, consisting of zodiac signs, and can also be found in "Dictionary of Occult, Hermetic and Alchemical Sigils" by Fred Gettings. Page was known to have worn clothes with the Zoso symbol embroidered on it, along with other astrological symbols, particularly during tours and performances following the album's release. The symbol is believed to be related to the planet Saturn and Jimmy Page's astrological sun sign, Capricorn.
